    Everyone’s brain works differently. Music is a unique skill and almost every musician thinks and processes music in different ways. I build a custom program for each of my students based on a number of factors including age, musical interests and goals, and learning style.

    Private lessons don’t have to be boring! Yes, music is a skill and there are foundations to set, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find new and exciting ways to learn and apply those foundations. Music is a means of expression and in everything I do, from teaching to composing, I emphasize the importance of expression.

Our consultation will consist of the following:

  • Introduction! Get to know each other!

  • Assessment of your (or your child’s) learning style; visual, auditory, or a mix. This assessment is so that I can tailor a program to suite the student’s individual and specific needs.

  • Discussion of my rates* and schedule availability.

  • Discussion of goals within the course.

*My rates vary based on a number of factors including course selection and material, duration, and possible travel accommodations. I offer flexible payment opportunities such as monthly payments or pay per lesson.
